The new name of FIFA, electronic arts’ famous football series, has been announced. The FIFA series, which will be called EA Sports FC from 2023, ends its 30-year partnership. The final game in the FIFA series, which began in 1993, will be released this fall.
Electronic Arts reported for EA Sports FC: “EA Sports FC will be a new football series where we will bring innovations and bring new experiences. We’re going to make the sport more widespread. With EA Sports, we’ll use the power of over 150 million players worldwide and reach hundreds of millions of new players in the coming years.
EA Sports FC will face players with 700 teams, 100 stadiums and more than 30 leagues. It will also include more than 19,000 athletes. Through EA Sports FC, EA will protect, expand and bring new experiences to existing licensed content. With this series, we will reach more platforms and present football to all players.”
