Among the Amazon Prime series, all eyes are on Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which will debut in September. But Prime Video also has plenty of nuclear weapons in its arsenal. Amazon, which wants to adapt the Fallout brand to the screen in a gigantic way, has started to take very good steps for the new series. First, we take a closer look at the set environment with images shared by an unofficial fan page called BethesdaArabic .
The account, which shared the images of a shelter called Shelter 33, managed to make fans smile. In fact, the production team of the series is Kilter Films, who previously made Westworld for HBO. The first episode of the Fallout series, which continues its preparations with a very solid team and apparently a serious budget, will be directed by Jonathan Nolan, one of the creators of Westworld. The series will also feature Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet as executive producers.
The most pleasing part of the set photos is that the CGI part is quite limited. No matter how much the magic of the green screen develops, it seems unlikely to replace the physical set environment for the time being. It is quite pleasing that a universe that stands out with its atmosphere like Fallout will be brought to the screen in accordance with its pattern. Many details that should be in a Fallout bunker are also visible in the leaked photos. I hope that our characters, who are out of this bunker and struggling in a post-apocalyptic world, can adapt to this atmosphere immediately.
Bethesda’s screen face Todd Howard is also in the production cast for the game studio. To put it bluntly, in recent years, Bethesda has started to upset its fans a lot in terms of the game. Considering the experiences of Fallout 76, this series can be a good starting point for the Fallout brand to regroup. The fact that the set photos also came to light raised expectations even more. The Fallout series, which was announced in July 2020, does not yet have an official air date.
