Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that it will release its new and regulated PlayStation Plus subscription service in Asia (excluding Japan) on May 23, Japan on June 1, america on June 13 and Europe on June 22.
Jim Ryan, President and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, said of the new service: “We have been working for a long time to provide our members with flexible options, quality games and more. At the moment, this service is only a few weeks away from debuting. We’d like to thank our PlayStation community for your continued support. As the day of release approaches, we will have more to share.”
The previously released PS Plus subscription packages and benefits are as follows:
PlayStation Plus Essential
PlayStation Plus will offer players the same benefits that its members get today. It will also cost the same as ps plus.

PlayStation Plus Extra
– Offers all the benefits of essential membership system to players.
– Nearly 400 game catalogs from PlayStation Studios and third-party studios.

PlayStation Plus Premium
– Essential and Extra will include all the benefits of memberships.
– It will offer a library of 400 games as well as 340 additional game content. The additional library will include playstation 3 games available via the cloud, classic games from PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and PSP.
– In areas with PlayStation Now, players will be able to play the games offered via the cloud via PC.
– Trials: Players will be able to try certain games before purchasing.
– It will offer a library of 400 games as well as 340 additional game content. The additional library will include playstation 3 games available via the cloud, classic games from PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and PSP.
– In areas with PlayStation Now, players will be able to play the games offered via the cloud via PC.
– Trials: Players will be able to try certain games before purchasing.
In regions such as Turkey, where PS Now is not available, this package will be offered at a lower price. In addition, the refurbished PS Plus service will not be offered as a separate service. Existing users will be able to switch to PS Plus Premium membership without any price increases.
