The presentation by Microsoft at E3 last month was pretty good, and one of the games that got us excited was Forza Horizon 5. In the following period, microsoft and playground games increased our enthusiasm with various shares about the game. Now a new one has been added to these posts:
This time, the promo video is focused on in-game vehicle sounds. Although it is a short video, it is clearly demonstrated how different engine sounds the vehicles have. The game used 320 new vehicle audio recordings – which makes it clearer how much attention is paid to this issue compared to the previous game in the series. The developer team took into account the criticism from the followers of the series and focused on this issue.
As for the ‘ray traced audio’ issue; The developers decided to apply a similar dynamic lighting technology for sounds and aimed to take the experience of the game to the next level with dynamic voiceover that varies according to the environment. The trailer gives some insight into this.
We look forward to November 9th to see and hear the rest, and we are following it very closely.
