Publisher Nintendo and developer MercurySteam released update 2.1.0, which adds Boss Rush, Survival Rush, and Dread Rush modes for Metroid Dread. With this update, three different modes were introduced.
In Bosh Rush mode, players step into the boss fight and any damage received is valid in the next level. In Survival Rush mode, players come across as the mode in which they experience how many bosses they can beat within the 5-minute time limit. In Dread Rush mode, the ground rules are the same as in Boss Rush. But if Samus is hit by a boss, his energy drops to zero.
The game deals with Samus’ story and the aftermath of the events in Metroid Fusion. Samus is landing on planet ZDR to investigate a mysterious message sent to the Galactic Federation. The distant planet is invaded by alien life forms. Samus is more agile and talented than ever. But as we go deeper into ZDR, all kinds of trouble haunts you.
