Wasteland 3’s first story expansion, The Battle of Steelhorn, will be released on June 3, but inXile doesn’t intend to stand idle in the interim. The game’s 1.4.0 update will be released soon, which will improve by overhauling the pet system in the game. Of course, with this update, the next one is crafting; There’s the thing, and that’s something in itself.
The game’s pet system wasn’t very successful, actually. I’m not just saying this in terms of their inability to fight, these AI-controlled animals sometimes find themselves in the middle of situations that won’t happen and die (if you’re looking for success, then you’ll have to upload your previous record and try again). That hasn’t changed, 🙂 But there were also problems sometimes when you switched pets between your group, the animal could disappear or my success could fail.
With the new update, the animals that we have separated from the group will now return to the hut specially prepared for them, and from there we will be able to comfortably get themselves back into the group. And there’s no limit to owning one of each animal anymore, so we’ll be able to collect as many goats as we want.
Polly, our foul-mouthed parrot, got the most out of this update, and she was given the ability to use her profanity in battles. Thanks to his demoralized ability, he will now demoralize enemies with insults. InXile also posted a video about our parrot, but it’s only viewed on their site.
For the release of the 1.4.0 patch ;in the coming weeks; It’s trying, we’re waiting.
