Amazon’s highly hoped-for DVO; new world has been postponed again and again, this time less than a month before its release.
The closed beta of the game received a lot of attention, reached over 200,000 simultaneous players and received very positive reviews. New World’s first release date was announced as August 25, 2020, then postponed until spring 2021, after which we were told we were leaving for sure on August 31. Now the new release date is September 28th. Whether it comes out on this date or not, it’s hard to say for sure when it comes to New World.
“We want New World to be a seamless and fun experience for all players, which means we’ll make improvements depending on the situations you encounter in The Closed Beta. So we’re going to spend a few extra weeks weeding out bugs, improving stability and polishing the game. New World’s new release date worldwide is September 28, 2021. It wasn’t easy to make that decision. We’ve changed the release date before in pursuit of quality and we know it can be disappointing to wait a while longer. But we want to give you the best quality game with the exit.”
