Wordle, which has recently increased in popularity day by day, has moved into the ranks of the New York Times. The New York Times, one of America’s largest media companies, paid Wordle a “seven-figure low wage.”
The world-renowned media outlet said in a statement that the Times wanted to build a close relationship with its English-speaking readers. The media company New York Times Games also works with this slogan. According to the Times, readers will return to the Times every day to solve the new Wordle.
While some games in The New York Times are free, you’ll need to pay a $5 subscription fee to access some games. The game’s producer, Josh Wardle, says the game will be free for now, but in the future Wordle is likely to be placed behind a paywall.
The Turkish version of the game can be found here.
