CD Projekt Red will host a live stream tomorrow detailing the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions of Cyberpunk 2077. However, it is claimed that a surprise awaits us on this live broadcast, and the next generation version of the game will be available to players after this broadcast.
As users in the r/cyberpunkgame room have noticed, when you look at the game from an Xbox console, you can see the X/S tag. When you look at it from the Xbox store, there’s no such label. This means that updates are being made on the software side.
The official Cyberpunk Twitter account also acknowledged that the Xbox Series X/S listing was real, seemingly spoiling the surprise by the early release.
It should be added that the Steam version of the game has also been updated, according to SteamDB data, the CDPR QA branch used for testing purposes of the game and geforce now branch were updated on February 14th. So we can say that during tomorrow’s live broadcast, both the next generation versions will be released and the PC version of the game will receive a major update.
It also looks like CD Projekt Red is also preparing to offer a free demo version of Cyberpunk 2077. With the next generation version, it seems that a demo version of the game will be released on all platforms.
