Publisher Team17 and developer OverBorder Studio will release the action RPG Thymesia for the previously announced PC (Steam) version, as well as for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. In addition, the game was postponed from the 7 December 2021 release date to 2022.
The developer team reported on the postponement: “Together with our publisher Team17, we had to postpone thymesia’s release until 2022. As a community, you’re doing a great job with your support and we know this postponement will be disappointing for a lot of players. However, our goal is to launch Thymesia in the best possible condition. And to achieve that, we need to work a little harder.”
Thymesia is an extremely challenging action-RPG game featuring fast-paced combat and a complex plague weapon system. Play as a mysterious character known as “Corvus” in a kingdom where death is spreading. Hunt down your enemies, use the power of the epidemic and find the truth in your own memories.
A kingdom that once grew and flourished under the power of alchemy is entering an age of disaster. Efforts to stop the use of alchemy after discovering the power behind alchemy are backfiring. In just a few days, the kingdom is plunged into chaos and the streets are filled with monsters. Corvus has the key to understanding all this, but he’s lost his memory. The truth can only be found in his memoirs, but every time Corvus dives into the past, all he finds is more secrets.
