Square Enix announces that NieR: Automata has sold more than 6.5 million copies worldwide. This sales figure only includes digital sales.
The game was last announced in June 2021 to have sold six million units. When we go back even further, the game reached sales figures of 5.5 million units in February 2021, five million units in December 2020, 4.5 million units in March 2020 and four million units in May 2019.
Square Enix, on the other hand, announced today that NieR:Automata The End of YoRHa Edition will debut worldwide for Nintendo Switch on October 6.
