Bethesda released a new update for Fallout 76 called Night of the Moth and announced all patch notes. According to the patch notes, this update is about 10 GB in size (Steam and Bethesda.net). The size in the Microsoft Store is 19 GB.
Night of the Moth update for Fallout 76 is accompanied by the Mothman Equinox Season Event, Fallout 76 7. The season brings plenty of add-ons, Public Event improvements, and much more to improve gameplay quality.
NEW SEASON EVENT: MOTHMAN EQUINOX
A group of travelers in robes came to Appalachia and settled in Point Pleasant to celebrate a suspicious incident known as Mothman Equinox. This sect of Wise Mothman’s most loyal disciples, who call themselves “Enlightened,” plans to summon a mythical monster in a painstaking ritual. Help wise Mothman’s dark pursuits and banish rival cult members to his grace!
FALLOUT 76 SEASON 7: ZORBO’S REVENGE
Dr. Zorbo, the ancient (as he calls it) emperor of the universe, never forgot his crushing defeat by Captain Cosmos in “Legendary Run”. Now Zorbo is looking for revenge by forming a bad team to help him build a giant war machine that he will use to destroy Captain Cosmos. Here’s Fallout 76 7, which starts today. Here’s what’s waiting for you in season:
New Leaderboard: Join forces with him on the “Zorbo’s Revenge” Leaderboard as dr. Zorbo travels the planets to assemble a great team to help him defeat Captain Cosmos. In the meantime, you’ll be able to win the season’s in-game rewards, which include in-game currencies, consumer goods, C.A.M.P. objects, and much more!
New Allies: As you rank on the Leaderboard, two new allies who can join your C.A.M.P. and sell you their own products and offer daily empowerment; You’ll unlock Xerxo and Katherine.
Rank 100 and Beyond: As last season, 7. By the end of the season, he will once again be in his 100th season. You will still be able to earn additional rank promotion rewards by exceeding the Rank. Every rank you reach after 100 will earn Perk Card packs, disposable items, Atoms, and more.
Featured patch notes
– Mothman Equinox: Until December 21st, visit Point Pleasant by going to the Forest area every hour to help enlightened people invite Wise Mothman to Appalachia and win new themed rewards.
– 7. Season Begins: Dr. Zorbo will avenge Captain Cosmos. And you’re going to help! Raise your rank and go to the 7th. Earn star-studded rewards on the Leaderboard in the Season. Of course, all this will happen while we travel the stars to help Zorbo build a sneaky team.
Improvements to Improve Gameplay Quality: We’ve added improvements that our community demands, such as legendary booty sharing, collecting loot from nearby corpses, and a Pip-Boy Keyring.
Public Event Improvements: We’ve made some improvements to make our Public Event system easier, and some Public Events have had balance changes implemented.
Pirate Radio: A runaway broadcast is invading Appalachia’s radios! Set your Pip-Boy to Pirate Radio to keep up with new tunes and not miss radio theaters and commercials.
