The Ninja Gaiden Master Collection is out today. But apparently the PC version of the game is quite problematic.
Users who acquired the game on pc encountered very limited options. Perhaps the most prominent of these is the lack of keyboard and mouse support for the game that comes out for pc. You can only play the game if you put a controller on your PC. However, the game resets the graphics settings you choose every time you open. So let’s say you put the game in full-screen mode and leave. When you turn it back on, it opens again with window mode, and this repeats every time.
One of the interesting things about the PC port is the way it changes resolution. You can’t interfere with that again. The game adjusts the resolution itself based on your system features, and only 1920×1080 and 3840×2160 options are available. Intermediate resolutions such as 1440p are not supported. In addition, the game comes locked to 60 FPS.
Normally, changing resolution in many games is something we can do from the in-game settings menu, while in the PC version of ninja gaiden master collection, if you want to play the game in a special resolution, you need to add a line of text-based code related to the resolution you want to run the game in the launch options section on Steam.
Faced with such a problematic PC port apparently has left many players furious, especially after reports emerged that the game had received positive reviews from players who had a chance to try it out during the development phase.
The game’s Steam page began to fill with negative reviews from users.
It is not yet known whether a statement or patch will come from the developer team in the coming days.
