EA announced today that FIFA 23 will be released on September 30, 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Stadia, PS4 and Xbox One. FIFA 23, the latest game to be released under the FIFA name, uses Hypermotion 2 technology and promises to offer the most realistic animations of all time.
Nintendo Switch won’t have some of the features of FIFA 23
FIFA 23 will feature up-to-date kits, clubs and squads from some of the world’s top leagues, as well as some of the best women’s club teams and some new stadiums. Among other features, cross play for each 1v1 mode in the game will have an updated animation system and refresh of free-kicks, penalties and corner kicks.

The FIFA Ultimate Team mode will feature a redesigned chemistry system and a new mode called FUT Moments, which EA says is “scenario-based.” This year’s FIFA release for the Switch will be a “Legacy Edition.” So, it will have the same gameplay features and modes as FIFA 22. FIFA 23 Legacy Edition, which will be released on the same date as the regular version for the Switch, will not include these new features and improvements.
Modes available in FIFA 22 Legacy Edition that will also be available in FIFA 23 Legacy Edition:

- Local Seasons
- Online Seasons and Friendlies
- Tournaments – UEFA Champions League
- Kick Off
- Skill Games
The game will also include a certain number of FIFA Ultimate Team levels throughout the season:
- Managerial Assignments
- Single Player and Online Seasons, Tournaments and Draft
- Online Singles
- Squad Building Tasks
The latest FIFA game, FIFA 23, will be released on September 30, 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and One, PC and Stadia. The PC version is sold on Steam with a price tag of 699.00 TL for the Standard version and the Ultimate version for 899.00 TL. EA Sports soccer games will now be called EA Sports FC.
