It’s a well-known fact that Nintendo plans to come up with a revaated version of the Switch. We even learned from leaked information in previous weeks that this new console will use a 7-inch OLED display, have a faster Nvidia chipset, allowing it to display 4K when connected to the TV with the help of DLSS.
Sources within the firm say the price of this new console will be above the original $299 price and could be announced ahead of E3, which begins June 12. This new console will accompany the $199 Switch Lite;
In fact, the latest information is that the announcement will be made today or tomorrow, so we’re just a little bit away from finding out.
The new model is also said to go into production in July and will be released in September or October.
Previous estimates indicated that the price of this new console could be $349 or $399. If they si-flop the regular Switch, then users will have to choose between the $199 Lite and the new model, which is much more expensive than the Switch, which seems to be a bit of a nuisance from an economic point of view.
Despite the worldwide chip crisis, Nintendo is said to have no shortage of production, with most of nintendo’s tracks facing less competition than their rivals’ powerful consoles.
