NVidia Studio Driver supports new 3070 Ti and 3080 Ti laptop GPUs
The latest driver is equipped with next-level enhancements for existing creative apps and the latest app versions, including a major update to Maxon’s Redshift RT renderer.
The new GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU delivers the fastest 16GB of GDDR6 memory ever offered on a laptop and higher performance than the desktop TITAN RTX. The new GeForce RTX 3070 Ti also brings out great performance, up to 70 percent faster than RTX 2070 SUPER laptops.
The new Studio Driver update supports advanced laptops with the new content renderer:
- Ready to Use:
- Razer Blade 17 and 15 — up to a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU and up to 32GB of memory; A beautiful 4K 144hz, 100 percent DCI-P3 display can be configured.
- GIGABYTE AERO 17 and 16 — GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and 3080 Ti GPUs available.
- It will come soon:
- Razer Blade 14 will be released on February 17.
- MSI announced the Creator Z16 and Creator Z17 Studio laptops, which will be released in March and have GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPUs.
The new studio driver version unlocks enhanced support and performance for Redshift RT. This real-time processing only works on NVIDIA RTX GPUs and is supported by RT Cores. It also enables hardware-accelerated, interactive ray tracing and significantly accelerates workflows in Cinema 4D, Autodesk Maya, and other creative applications.
