The Star Wars Universe is now less than a month away from seeing one of its most special characters, Obi-Wan Kenobi. We’ll see Obi-Wan, one of the key characters of the entire Skywalker era, back in tatooine after the third film. Not only Tatooine, but we also know that kenobi in various parts of the galaxy has a lot of work to do before Luke Skywalker gets old enough. However, a new debate has inflamed about the level at which all these adventures will be given. Kenobi’s age limit is lower than any other Star Wars series.
We found that Obi-Wan Kenobi, along with Disney+;’s UK page, is listed as 9+. The United Kingdom classified content as 0+, 6+, 9+, 12+, 14+, 16+ and 18+; the Mandalorian had a 14+ age limit, while The Book of Boba Fett had an age limit of 12+. But the weird thing is, it’s different on the American side of things. Kenobi’s age limit in America is listed as TV-14, just like Mando and Boba Fett. Compared to Marvel series, shows such as WandaVision, Loki and Hawkeye are also listed as 9+ in Britain. So kenobi has nothing to worry about for now.
America’s age limit laws on television broadcasts are slightly different than in the world as a whole. That’s probably why content that’s 9+ in Britain is suitable for 14-year-olds and older in America because of some of their scenes. At this point, whatever the age limit, the thrill of watching Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan again is enough. The first two episodes of the Kenobi series will begin airing on May 27.
