Obsidian announced The Outer Worlds 2, accompanied by a very entertaining trailer for the Xbox presentation. The Outer Worlds 2 will be a game exclusive to the new generation.
Don’t be surprised if there’s nothing gameplay in the trailer, and what I call fun is that the narrator broke down the fourth wall and explained why the trailer didn’t reflect reality:)
For example, for the giant creature at the beginning, “will this creature be in the game? No, say goodbye forever”, mock clichéd trailers by saying “meaningless, slow motion images”, refer to lens flare effects popping out of everywhere… The outer worlds 2’s sense of humor is even possible from this trailer.
“The only thing the developers finish is the name of the game,” says the narrator at the end of the trailer, and that’s enough.
The Outer Worlds 2 will be on Game Pass from day one, but no date has been given, even in years.
