Last week, we announced that the KONAMI MEMORIAL NFT collection, which includes 14 unique works, will go on sale to mark the 35th anniversary of Konami’s Castlevania series. The auctions at NFT marketplace OpenSea were finalized yesterday and all 14 pieces prepared were buyers.
The original Castlevania map, which went to the highest price among the pieces, was Dracula;s Castle, which sold for $26,000.
The montage video, which includes gameplay clips from Castlevania, sold for $17,000, while revenue from all 14 tracks was $162,000.
Now, when we look at these money earned without much effort, it should not be difficult to predict that Konami and other studios will come up with even more NFT sales in the coming days.
Konami will list the names of the purchasers of these 14 pieces on their dedicated website for 10 months.
