Broadcaster Prime Matter and developer Nine Dots Studio have announced that the open-world role-playing game Outward: Definitive Edition will debut on May 17 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
Users who already have the base game and the The Three Brothers supplement pack will be able to upgrade their game to Outward: Definitive Edition for free. Previously, the Sorobor people’s supplemental package was supposed to be available, but Prime Matter ultimately backed down.
Outward: Definitive Edition lets you rediscover the game with both downloadable content (Three Brothers and The Soroboreansve) and plenty of new and updated content.
In Outward, you play as an adventurer, traveler and explorer. Most importantly, you are vulnerable and equipped with as much power as your enemies. You will try to survive in wild, brutal lands filled with enemies, obstacles and fantastic creatures, fighting and using magic to overcome both challenging environments and opponents.
