Publisher Prime Matter and developer Nine Dots announced in May that they would release Outward: Definitive Edition, an open-world RPG game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC. Outward: Definitive Edition includes its core game, two DLC content (The Three Brothers and The Soroboreans), quality and balancing updates. Users with the basic game and both additional package contents will be able to upgrade to Definitive Edition for free.

Outward is currently available for PC on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam, epic games store and GOG.
