Publisher Nintendo and developer Monolith Soft have released an eight-minute overview trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles 3. The new trailer shows the various regions of the game, its characters, some of its enemies, the characters’ animations, the fighting and party system, character abilities, and more.
The description of the game is as follows:
Live to fight. Fight for a living.
In Aionios, the world of Xenoblade Chronicles, two opposing nations continue to struggle with each other: the nations of Keves and Agnus. Meanwhile, six soldiers fighting for the two nations are on a special mission. Will these characters, who were once hated by each other, survive?
When you encounter an enemy, pull out your weapon to start the battle. Determine your approach to the enemy yourself, and then start the fight for victory. Freely change the character you control to suit your fighting style and strategy.
Special attacks, known as art, are unique to your character’s Class. Thanks to these special attacks, you can deal higher damage. You can use Chain Attacks, which combine multiple attacks to defeat enemies. With this attack, you will not let your enemies breathe easy.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will debut for the Switch on July 29.
