Blizzard has released the Overwatch 2 early access date , which has been available to players as a closed beta for a while. The company, which regularly updates the game with the feedback it receives during the testing process, is preparing to launch the production in the coming months with early access.

The Overwatch 2 early access date was announced by Activision Blizzard as October 4 at the Microsoft Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase. The important details that appeared in the released trailer gave some clues to the actors about the production. New maps, new game modes and new heroes that are expected to be added to the game are eagerly awaited. Blizzard hasn’t given a release date for Overwatch 2’s mission-based PvE mode, which is still in development.
Overwatch 2 will launch with at least two new maps, a new game mode called Push, and several revisions to beta testing since the beginning of 2022. In addition, it is among the information that the heroes expected to be added in the new game will be Sojourn and Junker Quern. Of course, the new five-on-five team mode tested as part of the closed beta will also be added. The announcement trailer also showed designs and cosmetics of some new characters that were not previously disclosed. Blizzard said it will reveal more information about Overwatch 2 in a live stream on June 16.
Overwatch 2 will arrive for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X when it launches in October. Moreover, the game will also support cross-platform matching.
