Overwatch 2 servers are being attacked by DDos and players have started to have difficulty from the first day. Blizzard President Mike Ybarra said in a statement that the attack was quite powerful and that players had serious problems connecting to the game. He added that they are doing their best to solve the problem.
Overwatch 2 servers are under DDoS attack
Overwatch 2 servers are being attacked by DDos. Fans of the game who try to log in to play the game encounter long queue times and various error messages due to the attacks made. President Ybarra shared a series of tweets reassuring that teams are working around the clock to solve the problem.
In the early days of big multiplayer games, often players and the team that struggles in the background to keep things running smoothly know they can have a tough time. Unfortunately, players have serious problems entering the Overwatch 2 servers, the “0 Players Ahead” error comes at the beginning of the errors that come to the players’ screen and they wait in the queue for too long to enter the game.

Blizzard President Mike Ybarra reported that the reason why players waited in line for a long time to enter the game was due to a mass DDoS attack. It is said that European servers have suffered a lot of damage, but the disruptions caused by this attack have slowly spread to all other regions. Ybarra apologized to the players for the problem and said they are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
Unfortunately we are experiencing a mass DDoS attack on our servers. Teams are working hard to mitigate/manage. This is causing a lot of drop/connection issues. https://t.co/4GwrfHEiBE

There is currently no information about who caused the DDoS attack. The pirates who carried out the attack seem to be doing it to spoil the fun of the first day of the newly released game. However, these attacks never reduced the interest in the game. So much so that there are 400,000 people watching Overwatch 2 creators.
Overwatch 2 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
