Blizzard Entertainment launched a closed PvP beta for Game 2 of Overwatch this week. This beta has attracted a lot of attention on the live streaming platform Twitch. Overwatch 2 has reached more than 1.5 million simultaneous viewers on Twitch.
The number of users who are curious about Overwatch 2 seems quite high. This is a new record for the Overwatch series on the Twitch platform.
A Twitter post by Blizzard stated: “With 1.5 million viewers for the Overwatch series on Twitch, we have reached the highest ever viewership. Keep in mind that twitch drops are one way to access this beta. The closed beta offers four new maps to players through May 17: New Queen Street, Colosseo, Circuit Royal and Midtown. There are also eight old maps that can be played.”
