Blizzard’s competitive game Overwatch gets NVidia Reflex support. Reflex support, which is said to greatly reduce system latency, also comes to the main servers after several weeks of testing. It has also been stated that this support will be available for Rust and Ghostrunner soon. NVidia’s statements and details on the subject are as follows;
Overwatch NVidia Reflex support prevents delays
Overwatch players with GeForce graphics cards will now be able to take advantage of NVIDIA Reflex technology that reduces system latency to further improve their competitiveness. NVIDIA Reflex can be activated from game settings, allowing faster targeting of opponents, faster response, and increased target accuracy.
After several weeks of testing on test servers (PTR), NVIDIA Reflex, which reduces system latency by up to 50% and significantly improves the game’s response, was launched today on Overwatch’s main servers. NVIDIA Reflex provides instant improvements to targeting and reduced system latency, providing the best experience for gamers, regardless of the heroes, abilities, and weapons used.
Reflex Is Coming to Rust and Ghostrunner
NVIDIA also announced two new games that will soon have NVIDIA Reflex low latency technology.
- Facepunch Studios’ successful game Rust
- Ghostrunner in One More Level’s futuristic ninja action game

Other improvements to NVIDIA Reflex include:
A new optimization update has been made in “Boost” mode, which can reduce latency in certain CPU-dependent scenarios.
- The new optimization was implemented in Fortnite and reduced latency in CPU-dependent scenarios by an additional 15%.
- Valorant will deploy this optimization in the next patch. Initial tests show a 10-15% improvement in system latency in similar CPU-related situations compared to the previous version.

Three mouse manufacturers have released firmware updates to enable Reflex Latency Analyzer, including:
- AOPEN Fire Legend GM310
- Acer Predator Cestus 350
- Razer Deathadder v2 Pro
Acer launches new Predator X25 360Hz Reflex Latency Analyzer-equipped monitor
NVIDIA’s GeForce Experience app has been updated to include a variety of user-requested features, including:
- The ability to save all performance monitoring data to a CSV file (including latency statistics from FPS and Reflex Latency Analyzer).
- The ability to select the number of instances that Reflex Latency Analyzer will use for the average.
- Adding GPU usage to a set of latency metrics to help easily determine when a game is connected to the CPU or GPU.
