Madden NFL 23, which will be released on August 19 and is available for pre-order on Steam for 599 TL, is not the same as the PS5 and Xbox Series version, but the PS4 and Xbox One version. As you can see, Electronic Arts has introduced the PC version of Madden NFL 23 as the older generation.
EA equated the PC with the old generation in the previous year’s FIFA game, and in FIFA 23, it synced the PC version with the PS5 and Xbox Series. It’s hard to see why Madden NFL 23 is back to the old version once again.
The fact that the PC version of Madden NFL 23 will use the older generation version means that Madden 23 will also be missing out on the FieldSense animation system, which is perhaps the most prominent feature.
EA has said that FieldSense will revolutionize the series and affect matches in all modes of Madden 23. This is a system that uses motion and animation branching techniques created with over 3500 motion capture techniques. Whether it will bring as much revolution to the game as EA claims, we will see when the game comes out, but it should still be annoying for those who want to play the series on PC, not being able to see such an advertised important feature on PC.
