Broadcaster Prime Matter and developer Snapshot Games announced on October 1st that they will release Phoenix Point: Behemoth Edition, a turn-based strategy game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series will be released at a later date with a free upgrade. Also on October 1st, the fourth downloadable content expansion for the current PC version will be released, “Corrupted Horizons”.
Phoenix Point: Behemoth Edition will include the basic game and four downloadable content expansions (“Blood and Titanium,” “Legacy of the Ancients,” “Festering Skies,” “Corrupted Horizons”) and revised controller support.
Phoenix Point was first released for PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store in December 2019.
Phoenix Point leaves players in the midst of a desperate struggle to save Earth from a mutated alien threat. Offering turn-based tactical warfare and resource management on methodically constructed maps, Phoenix Point offers endless repeatability and brutal challenge.
