The cast of the reboot version of the classic Hellraiser film, which will be released on Hulu, has been announced. The most interesting thing about the cast at first glance is that the iconic character, Pinhead, the leader of the Genobites; will be played by an actress, Jamie Clayton.

Pinhead was played by doug bradley from 1987 to 2005, so we’ve seen him in every cult movie. Already, the quartet in the films had Chattering and Butterball Cenobite; I mean, there’s no rule that says these creatures have to be men. However, considering that Pinhead has names like The Hell priest and Cold Man, it raises the question of why this character, who has been a man since time immen, suddenly becomes a woman.

The film stars Odessa A’zion. He also includes Brandon Flynn (13 Reasons Why), Goran Visnjic (The Boys), Drew Starkey (Outer Banks), Adam Faison (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Aoife Hinds (Normal People), Selina Lo (Boss Level) and Hiam Abbass (Succession).
