When Rockstar’s officially released zombie apocalypse plugin for Red Dead Redemption was not added to the second game, a player designed a Red Dead Redemption 2 zombie mode on their own.
Zombies flooded Red Dead with the add-on released by Rockstar in 2011, and the players loved this zombie mode. A player who’s tired of Rockstar not trying such a fashion for the second game, he designed the mode himself, and judging by the video he posted, it doesn’t look bad.
Red Dead Redemption 2 zombie mode takes place in 3 different regions of the game
In mode released as Undead Nightmare II-Origins, a virus outbreak that begins in the RDR universe is changing 3 different regions of the game (for now) from top to bottom, including the towns of Armadillo, Blackwater and Coot’s Chapel. The general image of the regions and the logic of the safe zone are similar.
In the promotional video for the mode, we can see Arthur in all the cities raided by zombies, and in all of them, the civilians and soldiers of the towns are trying to show resistance. The music used in the mode is also owned by the mod makers, and the lighting effigies used are well suited to a zombie apocalypse.
Although rdr 2’s zombie mode is still in development, you can download and try it out.
