Although its popularity appeared to have waned shortly after the game’s launch, it quickly recovered and its momentum continued to move upwards.
Pokemon GO, which has also achieved a significant milestone in terms of commercial performance, has generated more than $5 billion in revenue since its launch in 2016, according to a new report by Sensor Tower.
The game generated an average of $1 billion in revenue each year and reached $641.6 million in the first half of 2021.
