The Pokemon Company has announced the release dates of Pokemon Legends: Arceus and Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus will debut for switch on January 28, 2022, and Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl on November 19, 2021.

The open-world RPG Pokemon game Pokemon Legends: Arceus will take players to sinnoh territory we know from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Players will step into their adventures by selecting one of the partner Pokemon Rowlet, Cyndaquil or Oshawott, and collect creatures throughout their journey by throwing Poke balls and engaging in turn-based battles. The game will develop around the legendary Pokémon Arceus.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl is a completely refurbished version of Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, released for DS in 2006. Remake transitions to chibi-3D art style with various gameplay improvements, and battles look similar to Pokemon games on Switch with 3DS. The Sinnoh area where the game takes place is built to stick to the feeling of the original.
