There is a love/hate relationship between HBO and Game of Thrones fans. Fans’ anger began to rise as the show’s first seasons got so acclaimed that it got closer to the finale. By the end of the day, we were in for a huge disappointment. Of course, HBO would not have given up on using one of its most valuable brands, Game of Thrones, so easily, and various side series were launched. Preparations for the first of these, House of the Dragon, have officially begun.
The studio, which also opened a new Twitter account for the series, said official updates would be made there. House of the Dragon, which will star Matt Smith, Paddy Considine, Rhys Ifans and Olivia Cooke, will be set three hundred years before the original series.
