One of the most gratifying news of the past year was that X-Men: The Animated Series will return with new episodes. While we haven’t seen any improvement for the Marvel Cinematic Universe on behalf of the X-Men yet, the return of TAS, which has endeared many generations to X-Men, is great news. The fact that the show will also pick up where it ended in 1997 is another element that raises excitement. While most of the original voiceover team was preserved, there was good news from my favorite character, Wolverine. Logan’s voice actor Cal Dodd posted on his Twitter account that preparations had begun and he was recording in the studio. Cal Dodd even told a fan that he had finished recording three episodes.
In addition to Cal Dodd, the series will also re-star Storm; alison Sealy-Smith, Gambit;voiced by Chris Potter; rogue; and Lenore Zann, voice of Rogue. Of course, for viewers like us who met the show on Fox Kids at the time, it won’t be dubbed in Turkish at the time, but it’s good to see the comeback begin. The new seasons will be written by Beau DeMayo, who also wrote The Witcher. Judging by the preparations that began in the early days of 2022, it seems quite possible that we will watch the series in early 2023. For now, I’ll leave you to the show’s legendary original intro.
