Developer Sabotage Studio has announced that Sea of Stars will be available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, as well as the previously announced Switch and PC (Steam) versions. Sabotage Studio announced last week that the turn-based role-playing game Sea of Stars has been postponed from the previously scheduled 2022 release year to 2023.
Of this postponement, the team had this to say:
“As we approach a huge milestone, we’re making the game’s release year even clearer. We have two main priorities for the game: quality and playability. With these elements in mind, we now officially confirm that Sea of Stars will be released in 2023. “
The description of the game is as follows:
Sea of Stars is a role-playing game set in the universe of The Messenger that will be about the events that preceded The Messenger.
Sea of Stars will tell the story of two children who combine the power of the sun and moon to create a special power called Eclipse Magic. Eclipse Magic is the only way to defeat the terrifying creatures of the evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer.
The game aims to deliver a retro-inspired modern RPG experience with turn-based battles, storytelling, exploration, and environment interaction.
