The company aims to end the current financial year in March 2024 and ship 25 million PS5 consoles. If this goal is reached, a single year, the original Playstation, which shipped a 22,6 million units, will be equaled to the unbreakable record for 25 years.
According to Sony said, only three years after the launch of PS5, PS4 has the potential to exceed 117 million units of lifetime sales total. Lempel also expressed the belief that the system can perform this great success.
