PUBG 12.2 update released for consoles after PC
The PUBG 12.2 update is out and brings with it a new 8×8 map, TAEGO. Plus, Survivor Pass: TAEGO is now available for PC and console gamers, so they can start unlocking various TAEGO-themed rewards. The PUBG 12.2 Update is available on the console today after it was released on PC last week.
Welcome to TAEGO – IN 1980s South Korea, TAEGO allows players to compete in a variety of regions, from large, open reeds to nearby areas of Hosan prison. The first new 8×8 map released in the past few years has unique features specific to this map, including TAEGO, Comeback BR (second chance mechanics) and Personal-OED (self-resuscitation element).
Introducing “Survivor Pass: TAEGO”: The theme of this Survivor Pass is mostly inspired by the new map TAEGO. Players can earn a variety of rewards as they progress through 50 levels. That’s not all – players past level 50 can receive bonus rewards, including medals, emblems, and G-Coin.
Stylish Rides with Hyundai Pony Coupe – KRAFTON partnered with Hyundai to move its first concept car, the Pony Coupe, to PUBG. Specifically for the TAEGO map, the Pony Coupe has a four-wheel drive design that provides enriched control for terrain with various floors in TAEGO. The Pony Coupe was designed by legendary automotive designer Giorgetto Giugiaro and premiered in 1974.
