Krafton announced that PUBG: Battlegrounds Steam will be available for free for a week. Players who don’t have the game until August 16th but want to try it will be able to test it for free on Steam. The information provided about this period, which the company calls Free Game Week, is as follows;

Newcomers will have full access to the game and will be able to play the game with the following content and recent updates:
All Featured Maps – During Free Game Week, all maps, including the recently released 8×8 South Korea map Taego, will be open for players to experience. Other maps in the current “Normal Map” rotation include Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi and Karakin.
Survival Against Zombies – Through PUBG LABS, players can come together and try to overcome 10 stages of various zombie waves. Earn Survival Tokens and buy more powerful equipment to increase your chances of survival.
BLACKPINK x PUBG: Battlegrounds – In memory of the collaboration, various BLACKPINK-themed items will be applied to maps in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS. There are elements that include thematic changes to supply building stickers, aircraft banners, chests and level 3 helmets. In-game BLACKPINK-themed items can also be purchased.
Survivor Pass: Taego – Players can purchase this in-game pass and level up to earn a variety of in-game items, including special character and weapon skins.
Global Account Activity – To earn the exclusive “Traditional Glasses-Round” in-game item, be sure to create and link a Global Account to Steam during Free Game Week. Creating a Global Account during Free Game Week allows you to keep all stats, earned in-game items, and Survivor Pass progress after Free Game Week ends.
