PUBG Corporation today announced the addition of PUBG Continental Series 3 (PCS3) to its 2020 esports calendar, which will take place in November. As with any previous PCS event, PCS3 will consist of four regional tournaments in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Asia.
All of the teams will compete to crown their team in the Grand Finals in their region, and with the 000 usd prize pool in all regions, the teams will also receive a portion of the regional $200,000 prize
A extension will also be added to the PUBG Continental Series 2 (PCS2) Grand Finals competition calendar in September. The PCS2 Grand Finals, originally scheduled to last two weeks, will take place over three weeks, with 24 matches per region, four matches a day.
PCS2 Grand Finals Calendar:
Kuzey America: August 27-28, September 3-4, September 10-11
Europe: 29-30 August, 5-6 September, 12-13 September
Assia-Pacific: August 29-30, September 5-6, 12-13
Assia: 27-28 August, 3-4 September, 8-9 September
Ahead of the
PCS2 Grand Finals, each region will host the qualifying rounds, which will be completed by August 16th. The PCS2 European Group Stage will host the 24 best teams in Europe, including FaZe Clan, TSM, Team Liquid, ENCE, Natus Vincere and Raise Your Edge, both to advance to the Grand Finals and to receive the largest share of the $200,000 prize pool. The Group Stage will continue for two weeks from 7-9 August to 14-16 August, starting at 19:00 every day. Pick’Em Challenge
The expansion of the game will continue with the Pick’Em Challenge event, where gamers are given the chance to predict the winners of each regional tournament and thus win PCS products. The Pick’Em Challenge will start on PC on August 19and consoles on August 27 and will both conclude on September 8 Buyable PCS2 products will be available at the beginning of each Pick’em Challenge event period.
