Krafton recently announced the PUBG New State closed alpha stage. Today, he shared with the players some details about this Alpha stage as well as the details of the maps that will be included in the game. The company’s description and information about the maps are as follows;

During this first “Field Trip to Troi”, four new highlights emerged, including Exhibition Hall, Shopping Mall, Laboratory and Trailer Park. Each region is completewith unique visual and environmental features that will affect gameplay in exciting and unexpected ways.
Exhibition Hall – (Exhibition Hall) Viewed from above, the Exhibition Hall looks like a target point and is an interesting place to be targeted when entering a match. It has a large outdoor center so that players can get down in the middle and start looting immediately. This area is designed with verticality in mind – players can choose to climb to the top in the hope of immediately clashing with enemies, or take a more discreet approach by advancing from below in the building. New features such as transparent, bulletproof glass will change the way players strategize and interact with enemies in the Exhibition Hall.
Shopping Mall – (Mall) This area has an open roof concept that resembles an Exhibition Hall and impresses thanks to its variety of stores. Players can lock many unique storefronts to jump on their enemies. The roof of the Mall will heat up quickly, but if the players survive, they will have many options to encircle the remaining enemies. Finally, players should pay attention to the directional, escalators of the Mall. Players who go in the right direction will be able to navigate quickly. If they go the wrong way, they’ll be open targets.
Laboratory – (Laboratory) This area has a four-level dense enclosure, which makes it perfect for brisk close-range combat. Players can hope to find many detours in the building, which allows enemies to circl or sneak in. An important element of the space is the ‘central security room’, which includes transparent, bulletproof glass to host fun fighting matches.
Trailer Park – (Trailer Park) Originally an interesting settlement, Trailer Park has been turned into temporary shelters. For those who want to take part in this area, players will need to sneak in, climb and cross the paths to victory. If a quick exit is required, players can use the ramp at the end of the road to get out of trouble.
Pubg: NEW STATE, developed by PUBG Studio, the pioneers of the Battle Royale genre and creators of PUBG, will be released in 2021 as a free-to-play experience on Android and iOS.
