Krafton announced new content plans and anti-cheating measures for the launch in more than 200 countries, with the final test scheduled for October 29-30.
PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDSun creators KRAFTON, Inc. announced at an hour-long PUBG: NEW STATE online demonstration that PUBG: NEW STATE will officially debut on iOS and Android devices in more than 200 countries on November 11, following its latest technical test in 28 countries*, from October 29-30. Following the opening speech given by KRAFTON CEO CH Kim during the screening, Minkyu Park (Senior Producer), Daehun Kim (Creative Director), Henry Chung (Editor-in-Chief) and Sangwan Kim (Head of anti-cheating Unit) shared their presentations. The company announced its post-launch support plans for PUBG: NEW STATE, which includes a strong and decisive new content stream, global service support and anti-cheating measures.
Developed by PUBG Studios, the same company that created the highly successful PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS battle royale video game for PCs and consoles, PUBG: NEW STATE will be released as a next-generation mobile game that can be played for free in 17 different languages. Set in 2051, PUBG: NEW STATE brings pubg: BATTLEGROUNDSun’s complete battle royale gaming experience to iOS and Android, making it one of the most realistic and technologically advanced mobile games to date.

Setting the Battle Royale Standard on Mobile
Minkyu Park, Senior Producer of the game, introduced pubg: NEW STATEi features that make it competitive and unique. PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS makes the battle royale genre mainstream, while PUBG: NEW STATE defines battle royale standards for the next generation. The game uses the same level of top-level rendering technology and an armed gameplay system as pubg: BATTLEGROUNDSun’s PC version. However, PUBG: NEW STATEin graphics quality pushes the boundaries of what has already been done on mobile platforms.
Main Game Features and Update Plans
PUBG: New State online demonstration detailed game features and content update plans were explained by Creative Director Daehun Kim. PUBG: NEW STATEin aims to further the battle royale genre through its original gameplay features, which include, but are not limited to, weapon customization, the drone store, and a unique player collection system. PUBG: NEW STATE will have four unique maps when it launches, including troi and erangel set in the future. The game will also be updated regularly with a season-based service that focuses on new content, improved gameplay, and game balance and entertainment.
Global Service Plan
Editor-in-Chief Henry Chung KRAFTON presented the global service plan for PUBG: NEW STATE and stated that KRAFTO will actively communicate with players and establish nine global service centers to provide stable gaming services. The company will also take various initiatives to meet the expectations of the global gaming community and provide the best possible gaming experience for all players.
Offering a Fair Battleground with Anti-Cheat Measures
KRAFTO’s anti-cheat strategy to create a safe and fair gaming environment was also introduced at the screening. Sangwan Kim, head of pubg studios’ anti-cheat unit, said KRAFTO would ban the use of unauthorized programs, emulators, keyboards and mice and detect and restrict attacks to prevent cheating and protect the game’s code. In addition to technical responses, player thoughts and feedback from the community will be closely reviewed, analyzed and reflected through in-game updates.
Finally, in an online demonstration, the company announced that PUBG: NEW STATE has surpassed 50 million pre-registrations on iOS and Android devices. Pre-registration first began in February 2021 when KRAFTO officially announced PUBG: NEW STATEi.
KRAFTON, Inc. will host the PUBG: NEW STATE launch event, a special online celebration for players from Turkey to watch. As part of the event, well-known names will face off and compete in intense matches to prove who is the best in the region.
The online event, which will take place on Saturday, November 13, 2021, will be broadcast live on PUBG: NEW STATE Turkey’s official YouTube channel. Players will enjoy sweepstakes and have the chance to win special prizes by participating in various events.
