One of the most important FPS games in history, Quake received a new accessibility update exactly 26 years later. Our readers who have the game on Steam have probably had the chance to see this update on the download screen. With the update, the graphic design of the main menu changed.
The new accessibility settings added to the Settings section will allow the font in the menu to change. The first time you open the game after updating, you can choose whether you want to use these settings. With this selection, many new options are available to you.
In particular, text-to-speech and speech-to-text options will allow Quake to open its doors to everyone. The messages in the game will now appear as a much whiter and more readable article.
Of course, it is important to note that this update came to the remaster version released last year. This version, released by Bethesda, was developed by Nightdive Studios.
