The refurbished version of Quake will come with 4K and widescreen support. Models in the game have improved color and motion lighting effects. Additionally, depth of field was added to the game. The theme music of the game was also renewed by Trent Reznor, the original composer of the music.
This improved version of Quake will include the game’s DLC – Scourge of Armagon and Dissolution of Eternity. Machinegames, which also has a signature under Wolfenstein games, announced two new expansion packs for the game; Dimension of the Machine and Dimension of the Past.
The story mode of the Quake remake will feature online and offline split screen features, with up to 4 co-op modes. The game’s multiplayer mode will support up to 8 people.
