The first major update to Quake Remastered, the revamped version of Quake, has been released. The update includes a lot of bug fixes, mod construction, and fixes to make bots easier, and some general fixes. Quake remake It was announced during quakecon in August.
Quake Remastered first update and bug fixes
The first update released for quake remaster brings bot support for a lot of maps, some of these maps and some improvements to bots include:
-The Slipgate Complex (E1M1)
-Castle of the Damned (E1M2)
-The House of Chthon (E1M7)
-The Elder God Shrine (E4M3)
-Shub-Niggurath’s Pit (END)
-The Edge of Oblivion (HIPDM1)
-The Pumping Station (HIP1M1)
-Improved the behavior of boots for close attack, swimming and weapon selection.
-Added texts that will appear when bots kill or kill someone
-Bots will use elevators more smoothly,
New spawn points and faster saves have been added to the “Dimension of the Machine” section, which was not in the original game but was added to the remake. Here are some bug fixes added to the game:
– Turning off friendly fire will not prevent damage to your character
– Fixed problems with interruption of sounds, loss of creatures and screen breakage during online games.
– Bots will no longer stay in lava or slime for very long.
