Ubisoft introduced Containment, a new event for Tom Clancy;s Rainbow Six Siege, which runs from August 3rd to August 24th. Inspired by Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, which will be released on September 16th, this event will feature a brand new game mode called Nest Destruction. In this mode, players will compete on the Consulate map captured by the Chimera parasite.
This new game mode invites players to fight for a Nest. As the attacking party attempts to take the final task by destroying the nest, the defender will try to prevent it. Defenders will be unarmed throughout the entire game and will use close attacks and Oryx’s Ramah Dash ability to stop attackers. Another condition for winning the match will be to wipe the other team off the map.
The Containment event will also offer 33 new items for Rainbox Six Siege operators. Operators’ special, timed items will be available in packages from the Store section, while Containment Pack boxes will be sold for 300 R6 Credits or 12500 Renowns.
