Netflix has announced the release date for the upcoming animated film The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. The film will be released on August 23, 2021.
The animated film focuses on the story of Vesemir, the mentor and friend of Geralt of Rivia. The animation is developed by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, written by Beau DeMayo and directed by Kwang Il Han. The animation is in collaboration with Mir, the South Korean studio known for The Legend of Korra, Voltron: Legendary Defender, Dota: Dragon’s Blood and more.
