It’s been more than two years since the launch of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and based on the plans the series generally follows, it looks like we’re approaching the release time of the next game. There has been a lot of speculation lately that the next Fire Emblem game will be a remake. These leaks come from Zippo, which is part of Nintendo.
According to Zippo, Intelligent Systems has been working on the new Fire Emblem version for some time and says development is almost complete. He also claims that Remake versions can come for Genealogy of the Holy War or The Binding Blade.
Both games debuted only in Japan, and so Zippo said it would make sense to remake both.
In the same blog post, Zippo noted that a new 2D Donkey Kong game is in development.
