Remedy Entertainment, the developer of Alan Wake and Control, shared the latest status information about the five projects he is currently working on.
First of all, the developer starts from Alan Wake 2. “Alan Wake 2 is in full production. There’s a lot of work to be done, but the game is starting to feel more complete in most areas. As we said before, Alan Wake 2 will be released in 2023.”
Next up is Codename Vanguard, Remedy’s free-to-play, co-op PvE shooter. For this game, in which Tencent is a publisher partner, Remedy says “we have made pretty good progress compared to the previous quarter.”
Control;s multiplayer spin-off, Codename Condor, “continues into the proof-of-concept phase,” says Remedy. Proof of Concept, i.e. Proof of Concept, is a way to identify or test a particular business idea or product in terms of its viability in the market. This game will take place in Oldest House in Control.
Codename Heron, a larger Control game, is “at the stage of concept and prototype work is underway.” This project is run separately from Alan Wake 2.
In addition to all this, there is also a Max Payne and Max Payne 2 remake project made with Rockstar. Remedy showed how pleasant it was by saying that “the reactions we received were incredibly positive”.
It is already guaranteed that we will hear Remedy’s name even more often in the coming period.
