The Hollywood director is about to enter the world of video games in Gunzilla. The Germany-based studio announced that director Neill Blomkamp is part of the team as the new visionary chef.
Gunzilla Games posted the news of the hiring of the District 9 director on its website. Neill Blomkamp shared the excitement of joining the studio full of talented developers from the gaming industry.
Co-founder and CEO Vlad Korolev also shared his feelings about the Oscar-nominated director joining the studio and said Neil Blomkamp would be a “key member” of the team that shared the same vision.

Neill Blomkamp is no stranger to the video game industry. A few years ago, he was developing a film based on the Halo series with Peter Jackson. However, Halo has now become a TV series for Paramount+. So the plans kind of fell through.
