New details have emerged about the new game of Skate, the skateboarding game series developed and published by Electronic Arts. Sources who spoke to Tom Henderson from Try Hard said that the new game of the series is ready to be announced.
Some footage was leaked in April about the new game in the Skate series. These images that emerged showed that the game was still in early development (Or these images were leaked from the early development process of the game). Franchise director Deran Chung and creative director Chris Parry announced during the EA Play Live 2020 livestream event that the game was still in early development.
In January, EA founded its Vancouver-based studio, Full Circle, which said it would be working on Skate 4 (whose official name is not yet clear). The team is led by Daniel McCulloch, the former president of Microsoft – Xbox Live.
While almost nothing is known about the game, EA announced during a call to investors in June 2020 that Skate 4 will allow user-generated content and be interactive. He also announced that he would have an open world.
The last game in the series, Skate 3, was released in May 2010. The game was introduced to players with new features such as parking creation and various difficulty modes.
